A major fire broke out at the non-operational Rolta Technology Park in MIDC, Andheri East, on Thursday. The blaze that started on the second floor in one of the three buildings in the complex, spread quickly to the entire building and at least 100 fire fighters were involved in dousing it. There were no injuries as the building was unoccupied. Fire brigade officials said the fire-fighting system of the building was not functioning and they are investigating to find the exact cause of the fire.
Eyewitnesses said the fire started around 11.30 am on Thursday.
