Meet the Other People
India’s all boy band, The Other People will be releasing their first ever album #Dreamers #Believers #Lovers on August 21.

The eleven tracks’ record can be best classified as Modern Pop/Soft Rock staying true to the band’s style of music.

After making waves at clubs, concerts and private events across the country, it was about time the six-member group launched its own album.

When Ganguly mistook his own car!
Sourav Ganguly was a touch embarrassed when he mistook another car as his at a five-star hotel in Bandra on Saturday.

The former India skipper was here for a working group meeting of the Indian Premier League. He obliged a few fans with selfies and photographs while waiting for his car to take him to the Mumbai airport for his flight back to Kolkata.

Unaware of which was his vehicle, Ganguly proceeded towards the car, which was apparently occupied with a couple, who had just clicked photographs with Dada. Ganguly was a bit embarrassed when he came to know about the goof-up, but his fans were more than happy to accommodate one of India’s best skippers in their vehicle.

Find your angel
We’ve tripped at new terms and phrases that get gift-wrapped to us in the form of regular people with regular professions.

Sample this: Wellness Angels: Alternate title for therapist! Yes, we came across this term, and frankly, we’re stumped. Clearly, there are angels in our midst...you need to look a little more!

Music and freedom
In the flood of mails that show up in our inbox, especially as Independence Day draws close, one particular bit of information made us smile.

The Happy Home & School for the Blind Choir will perform an hour-long recital (11.30 am-12.30 pm) at the Dr Bhau Daji Lad City Museum on Independence Day.

These talented students will perform well-known songs like Woh Bharat Desh Hai Mera and Sare Jahan Se Achha.

The event is open to all, and should be on your itinerary for August 15; what say?
