"The first cabinet meeting of this government took place on November 1, 2014, while the last one was held on January 12, 2016. During this period, total 63 meetings took place," NCP spokesperson Nawab Malik said in a press conference here.
"Currently, ministers in this government are handling total 52 departments, of which not a single decision was taken in 17 departments. This shows the miserable record of this government and also shows it is not doing any work," he alleged. "It is happening because these ministers prefer five star hotels and want to stay away from their offices," Malik said.
Referring to the information on the decisions taken by the Ministers uploaded on the government's official website, Malik said not a single decision has been taken by ten different departments that are helmed by the Chief Minister himself.
The NCP leader added, "Deparments like Ports, Tourism, Information and Public Relations, Protocol have not gone through with even a single decision, while Skill Development and Enterprenurship department has witnessed only one decision by the Chief Minister."
Malik added that Food production and Earthquake Relief Department held by Revenue Minister Eknath Khadse, Culture, Sports and Youth Welfare Department held by Vinod Tawde, Mining Department held by Prakash Mehta and Public Undertaking Department held by Chandrakant Patil has not seen even a single decision recently.
"Seeing the worst performance of the ministers of this government, including Fadnavis, I demand Chief Minister to let these ministers undergo biometric presence system that would tell the real story of their presence," he said.
