Pakistan has provided DNA profiles of suspected terrorists involved in the 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai to the Interpol. According to the reports, the France-based central agency yesterday said that the information was received on Saturday, which would allow it to gauge "the full international dimension" of the November attacks.

The police in Pakistan have detained a number of people in connection with the attacks and banned a group suspected for having links to Lashkar-e-Taiba.

The trial of Mohammed Ajmal Qasab, the only terrorist captured alive in the 26/11 attacks, is expected to start in the sessions court today. However, the crime branch may move an application in the court to postpone the trial citing security concerns.u00a0u00a0u00a0
