A railway loader was shot dead by some unidentified assailants in the northwest suburb of Jogeshwari on Monday, police said.

Raees Ahmed Khan, a native of Uttar Pradesh, was shot thrice with a country made revolver, they said adding that the assailants however managed to flee from the crime scene.
