The meeting assumes significance as Rane, a former Shiv Sainik, is all set to announce his future course of action tomorrow.

Rane after being denied the chief minister's post following Vilasrao Deshmukh's resignation in the wake of Mumbai terror attacks turned critical of the Congress' top leadership.
After this, Rane, revenue minister in the Deshmukh government, was suspended from the party.
