A Mumbai based Nazara Technologies will soon a launch games based on actress Sameera Reddy and chess maestro Vishwanathan Anand in the market. Keeping in mind the Indian gaming aficionados and their craze for celebrities, the company will be launching games based on these two celebrities.
The Vishwanathan Anand game will be game of chess, where there will be two players one of whom will be Vishwanathan Anand and the other player will be the holder of the mobile. While Sameera Reddy will play herself as a character in a game of ice cream, wherein Reddy would be picking up ice creams from a box without falling.
The games have been designed aimed at the younger generation, who have a craze for celebrities. We even have licenses for brands and celebrities such as Sachin Tendulkar, Virendra Sehwag, M S Dhoni and Archie Comics among others and develops mobile content based on these brands in consonance with their iconic images, said Nitish Mittersain, CEO Nazara Technologies.
The company, which has forayed into online gaming, has a gaming portal called nazara.com. The gaming website is equipped with localized content that is aimed at the Indian user market.
It had also launched a game to be played on the new generation iPhone and also launched a 2D game based on Mahabharata's Eklavya. The game titled Gurubhakta Ekalavya' is the story of the Prince who once rejected by his Guru, learns archery in the presence of a clay image of Drona. The game has 12 levels, which depict the story of Eklavya incorporating incidents from Eklavya's life.

In the Vishwanathan Anand 'Anand chess game, the mobile holder will be playing himself, while at the other end Vishwanathan Anand would be playing. Sameera Reddy's 'Ice cream fever' game Sameera would be picking up the icecreams without falling from a box.
