The 36-year-old actor drove straight from the airport in his black Lexus car to the temple, a little past midnight. He was accompanied by his wife Anupam and filmmaker Ashok Pandit.
Ahuja, accused of raping his domestic servant, was granted bail on Saturday. He flew to Delhi in keeping with the court order which has asked him to stay outside Mumbai till the trial begins.
The Bombay High Court had yesterday stayed his trial for a week as the prosecution sought time to reply to the actor's petition seeking medical and forensic reports.
Ahuja's lawyers have claimed that his DNA doesn't match with the victim. Ahuja will appear before the trial court today.
