Shiney Ahuja got a star's welcome from his family when they gifted him a Calvin Klein Teeu00a0and jeans to wear on the day he was released. However, the actor who was released from Arthur Road Jail on October 3, will have to spend some more time in the city as he is yet to find and submit his passport to the Oshiwara police. The formalities resulted in Ahuja's being released only towards the evening.u00a0

As directed by the court, Ahuja will only be able to leave for his Noida home once he has surrendered his passport and a declaration to the Oshiwara police but the family seems to have trouble locating the document.
"We can't let him leave for Delhi without surrendering his passport, because he could flee the country," said Dattaray Sankhe of the Oshiwara police station.
Ahuja told media outside the court: "I am innocent. I have full faith in the judiciary," before zipping off to a Shiv temple in Malad with his wife, director Ashok Pandit and his assistant.u00a0
Ahuja will be living with his parents in Noida in sector 22 and will be required to pay a weekly visit to the local police station. Failure to do so will be held as contempt of court.
