On Wednesday, Gujar (34), a resident of Dombivili, boarded a Kalyan local from Ghatkopar at 5.38 pm on his way home from his Andheri office, where he works as an asset manager. Just before the train entered the Parsik tunnel near Kalwa, around 6 pm, a missile flying from the slums lining the tracks, caught Gujar, who was standing at the door, hard on his nose.u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0
"When the train emerged from the tunnel, I saw blood all over me. ENT specialists at the Dombivili hospital, where I was admitted, told me that my nasal bone had detached due to the impact," said Gujar.u00a0
"I had insurance, so the Rs 47,000 I had to shell out did not pinch as much. Had I not held on to the bar that day, I would have fallen off in the tunnel. I want the miscreants nabbed," Gujar added.
