CBI Prosecutor Deepak Salvi had objected to Salem’s plea yesterday, stating that letting an accused have his way all the time would portray the prosecution in bad light.

Sources also claimed that Salvi had indirectly referred to the article published in mid-day about Salem and his girlfriend having a gala time during his previous hearing-related travels to Delhi and Lucknow.

Rejecting Salem’s application, Special TADA court Judge GA Sanap observed, “It seems that Salem is misusing the concession/ liberty.”

The report
In the report printed on July 4 (Don and his honeymoon travels), a set of exclusive photographs were published to show how Salem was making merry with his girlfriend, Sayyed Bahaar Kausar (26), and several of his family members. In one of the pictures, he can be seen talking over a cellphone at a railway station’s waiting room. The photographs were taken between 2012 and 2015.

Currently lodged in the Taloja Jail, Salem has been travelling to Lucknow and Delhi for the hearings of his cases that are on trial.
