Truck hits police barricade, 2 cops injured

Two police constable from Kasarvadavali police station, were injured when a truck dashed against a barricade put for naka bandi.

The constables had signalled the truck to stop but it didnt.

"One of the constables sustained bruises on hand while the other fractured his right hand after the truck hit the barricade and the latter fell on them. We later stopped the truck at the next nakabandi were he confessed saying the brakes had failed."

The constables are safe and we are investigating the matter," said a police officials from Kasarvadavali police station.
