Two days after Bombay High Court lifted the ban on women’s entry in the sanctum sanctorum of Haji Ali Dargah, activist Trupti Desai yesterday visited the shrine and offered a ‘chadar’, while announcing she would now fight for women’s right to pray at Kerala’s Sabarimala temple.

Thanking the people of the country, including Muslims, for their support, Desai requested the Dargah’s trust to not move the SC against the HC’s judgement.
