Two people were injured after driver of a car lost control and dashed his vehicle into a bicycle. The incident took place near the Mulund railway station on flyover connecting Mulund East to West at around 4.30 pm on Saturday.

According to officials from Navghar Police Station, the driver of the Ford Ecosport lost control of the vehicle and rammed a bicycle injuring two people. The injured couple identified as Madhuben Dholkia and Vinod Dholkia were rushed to Savarkar Municipal Hospital in Mulund west.

“The lady had suffered a head injury hence the couple was sent to the Sion Hospital for CT scan. Her husband received minor injuries to his right leg,” doctors from the hospital in Mulund said.

"The couple was walking on the flyover with the bicycle when they heard a loud breaking sound and were hit by the vehicle," said an official from Navghar police station.
