A person was today detained for questioning after he went to newly elected Congress MP Sanjay Nirupam's residence in north-west Mumbai, claiming that he had come to deliver foreign currency, police said.
A person was today detained for questioning after he went to newly elected Congress MP Sanjay Nirupam's residence in north-west Mumbai, claiming that he had come to deliver foreign currency, police said.
"One Abdul Sattar, who had gone to Nirupam's residence in Versova yesterday night, claimed that he wanted to deliver some cash," said Deputy Commissioner of Police Zone (IX) Niket Kaushik.
