to launch the Supercar Club of India.

Initiated by Raymond's Gautam Singhania, this only-by-invitation club hopes to curtail its membership to an exclusive 20 in Mumbai.
The club aims to be an exclusive platform for supercar owners and enthusiasts. Regular get-togethers and track-days at supercar-friendly venues are on the list of planned activities.

Also in the offing is the formation of associations with supercar clubs across UK, Europe and the Americas to organise international automotive-related events.

"Supercars have been my passion for a long time. The idea is to create a club where like-minded people can meet.
It has been a dream to bringall the supercar owners in India on a common platform," said Gautam Singhania, CMD, Raymond.

Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgan, Sachin Tendulkar and the Poonawallahs are a few of the star members of the club, which has a dual criteria that the car should have a 400+ BHP engine and cost over Rs 1 crore.
Hormazd Sorabjee, editor of Autocar India, which is partnering the club, said, "The Supercar Club of India will be a forum for owners and enthusiasts to come together and share their experiences."
Members will enjoy an exclusive concierge service, association with other supercar clubs as well as prestige and performance car hire companies from across the world.
