mention a single officer from the two Pakistani agencies that are widely suspected of having a hand in the attacks.
"While Qasab is a big catch for us, he is only one of the many minor operatives who are indoctrinated, trained and sent on such missions. He only knows people from the Lashkar-e-Taiba he met during his indoctrination in Pakistan," said a senior officer.
Not surprisingly, Qasab has not been able to give any details on the involvement of the ISI or Pakistani army officers in the attacks so far, Crime Branch officers say.
"He is too small in the terrorists' scheme of things to know much about the big players. To know more we will have to nab one of the main conspirators in Pakistan like Hafeez Saeed, the president of Jamat-ud-Dawa," said the officer.
