A 22-year-old youth was arrested on charges of molesting a woman at Colaba Market earlier this week. The victim, a US national, had arrived in India on July 9 and had been working with an NGO that works for the welfare of underprivileged children. On Monday, when the woman was leaving from her office in Abbas Building, Hamaza Bawa allegedly caught her on the stairs and started misbehaving with her. The victim immediately reported the incident to her colleagues, who later filed a complaint with the Colaba police.

"Soon after receiving the complaint, we arrested the accused who works as a waiter in a restaurant that is located in the same building," said an officer from Colaba police station.
