Aarogya Setu rectifies glitch and changes Ghatkopar-based interior designer’s status, his complaints fell on deaf ears for eight months

Jitendra Machhar’s entire family has deleted the app
Two days after mid-day reported about the glitches in the central government’s Aarogya Setu app showing a Ghatkopar resident as COVID positive months after recovery, officials rectified the error. On Thursday, the app finally showed 51-year-old interior designer Jitendra Machhar as COVID negative.
Machhar told mid-day, “For the past eight months, I had been in trouble and complained many times through the app’s grievance redressal system. But they were not rectifying the mistake. I was not able to go anywhere.
