The ambitious project of having a 33 km-long cycling network for Mumbaikars is yet to take off completely as encroachments along the pipeline continues to cause a hurdle. After missing the Diwali deadline to start a part of the cycling track along the Tansa Pipeline in Mulund, the BMC is planning to ready the stretch by December 31. The new cycling path is expected to be around 1.5 km-long.
The BMC has been clearing encroachments along the pipeline for the cycle track
