According to DNA, this possibility came to the fore when the Powai police was recording the statement of Samar Yajurvedi, her boyfriend, on Wednesday.

Samar told the police that Anupama feared facing the wrath of her senior as she had missed her Mumbai-Goa flight on Tuesday.
