The Ministry of Civil Aviation, after the fatal aeroplane crash at Baramati that killed Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, said that the black box of the ill-fated aircraft has been recovered. The Ministry further added that the investigation is progressing expeditiously.

While sharing a post on social media handle X, the ministry noted, "Ensuring a thorough, transparent, and time-bound inquiry remains a top priority."
