Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh has been admitted to a suburban hospital in Mumbai and his condition is presently stable, hospital sources said.

Singh was admitted yesterday, officials at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in suburban Andheri said refusing however to disclose any further details.

"He is still admitted at the hospital and his condition is stable. We cannot however disclose any further details on his condition," a spokesperson for the hospital told.
