The class teacher accused of allowing the sexual abuse of a three-year-old student in an Andheri school moved for bail on Wednesday. The teacher was arrested on Tuesday and remanded in judicial custody. The parents of the toddler have alleged that the teacher kept mum despite knowing what was going on with their daughter. The bail application filed by the 31-year-old teacher is likely to come up for hearing on Thursday in the Dindoshi Sessions court. Advocate Bhanudas Jagtap, the teacher's lawyer told mid-day, "We have moved for the bail. The enquiry and investigations were conducted long ago in the case. The police had also conducted a polygraph test but no evidence was found [of the teacher's involvement]."
