Twenty-two-year-old Shatrughna Kanojia sustained head injuries after falling off a local train at Bandra station on Thursday evening. The incident took place during peak hours, causing alarm among commuters on the platform.

A senior inspector with Bandra Government Railway Police (GRP), Nandakumar Khadkikar, said that Kanojia lost his balance while attempting to get off the moving train. “Fortunately, he fell on the platform and not in between the platform and tracks. Alert bystanders quickly informed the railway authorities, who rushed to the scene and arranged for medical assistance,” said Khadkikar.
