The relative of one of the patients admitted to Bhandup’s Sunrise Hospital had heard the fire alarm and alerted the staff, but they allegedly ignored him. In fact they allegedly told him to relax and said the alarm rings multiple times ‘just like that’. The police investigating the Bhandup hospital fire have recorded the statement of the relative of a patient, that highlights the gross negligence of the hospital authorities.
