The BJP-led Mahayuti alliance in Maharashtra has set an ambitious goal of winning over 150 seats in the January 15 elections to the 227-member Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), news agency PTI reported, quoting party leaders on Tuesday.

Mumbai BJP chief Ameet Satam emphasised that the ruling alliance is working with a clear focus on crossing the 150-seat mark in India’s largest civic body.
