Days after five people were arrested for their alleged role in the offensive Sulli Deals and Bulli Bai apps, obscene comments against Muslim women have surfaced on the audio chat application Clubhouse. The Maharashtra cyber police have sought information from Clubhouse about the people involved in the objectionable chat.

The matter came to light after Twitter handle @jaiminism shared a recording of the conversation about Muslim women on Clubhouse. Members who went by the names Bismillah and Sallos start the chat. A Twitter user has claimed that Sallos has deleted his ID—sallos.hell with 382 followers—after the discussion on the audio app went viral on social media. Bismilah’s Clubhouse ID is wtf.astic and has 291 followers. Jaimine told mid-day, “The video was recorded by my friend who does not want to reveal his name. So I took the risk, and posted it.”
