Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said on Friday that the state has seized the lead in all sectors, including foreign direct investment (FDI) and infrastructure, and has emerged as the country`s economic engine.

According to a report in PTI, CM Shinde talking to reporters on the occasion of India`s 75th Republic Day, said his government is inclusive and will contribute USD 1 trillion towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi`s goal of making India a 5 trillion dollar economy.
