Congress releases second list of 87 nominees for BMC elections 2026

Earlier on Monday, the Congress announced the first list of 87 candidates for the upcoming Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections. This came a day after the party announced its alliance with the Prakash Ambedkar-led Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA) for the civic polls

The Congress on Tuesday released the second list of 56 candidates for the upcoming Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections.
Taking to X, Congress MP Varsha Gaikwad said, "Together, we shall win! The second list of Congress candidates."
