A Thane police inspector booked in a graft case has alleged that he has been framed by his own department for ignoring unofficial orders from the Thane police commissioner to go slow in investigations into a land-grabbing scam.

PI Ghadge claims he is being framed by his own department, which filed the FIR against him on Sunday, nine months after the bribe was allegedly given. He also asked why the action had not been taken by the ACB and (right) Thane Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh
