The declining number of COVID-19 cases in Maharashtra has surely made the situation less worrying. As stated by the Public Health Department in their latest press release, a total of 14 new cases were recorded in the last 24 hours. The best thing about the COVID-19 outbreak is that there are no new deaths related to the infectious virus in the state.
All the cases that have been recorded in the last 24 hours indicate only mild symptoms and are not required to be kept under serious observation.
According to the data released by the Public Health Department, Maharashtra has conducted 31,804 COVID-19 tests since January 2025. A total of 2,547 individuals have tested positive since January. Encouragingly, 2,436 patients have recovered, bringing the overall recovery rate to a strong 95.64%, as of July 3, 2025.
While addressing the situation of COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, the Public Health Department has reported that 14 new COVID-19 cases were reported across the state. The district-wise breakdown of the COVID-19 cases stands as Mumbai (4), Thane Municipal Corporation (1), Pune (1), Pune Municipal Corporation (7), and Nagpur (1).
