Covid-19: Mumbai cases fall below 2k, TPR drops marginally

Nine of the Covid fatalities in Mumbai had comorbidities. While one of them was in the age group 40-60, the rest were above the age of 60

Mumbai continues to see a dip in test positivity rate (TPR) and daily cases. According to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) report, 1,857 COVID-19 cases were reported while there were 11 deaths in the city on Monday. The TPR was 5.41 per cent. In the third wave, the highest TPR recorded in Mumbai was 29.9 per cent on January 6. 

At the peak of the second wave, the highest number of single-day infections stood at 11,163.
