Covid-19: Mumbai’s cases rise once again, cross 300 mark

While city sees 363 fresh cases, state records a marginal rise at 6,126

For the second consecutive day, Mumbai saw a marginal rise in fresh Covid-19 cases, which crossed the 300 mark. While the city recorded 363 cases, compared to Tuesday it saw a three-fold rise in fatalities at nine. The city’s test positivity rate (TPR) saw a marginal rise on Wednesday and went above 1 per cent.

The TPR registered on Wednesday was 1.06 per cent, which was the TPR on July 29 as well. For the first time in the second wave, Mumbai’s TPR dipped below 1 per cent on July 29.
