COVID-19: Mumbai’s recovery and doubling rates fall again

The city reported 1,713 new cases on Monday. To ensure that the situation is again under control, aggressive testing has begun across the city.

Restrictions have been imposed in many districts of the state due to the surge in COVID-19 cases and the numbers recorded on Monday provided no relief to the authorities.

The state recorded 15,051 cases taking the total tally of Maharashtra to 23.29 lakh cases. However, the mortality number remains stable. The COVID-related deaths recorded in the last 24 hours in the state were 48, taking the total to 52,909 deaths in all.
