The state recorded less than 3,000 cases of COVID-19 and the city has reported less than 500 cases on Sunday. While the state recorded 2,637 new cases, this number took the total tally of Maharashtra to 20.44 lakh.

The state recorded less than 3,000 cases of COVID-19 and the city has reported less than 500 cases on Sunday. While the state recorded 2,637 new cases, this number took the total tally of Maharashtra to 20.44 lakh.
The total number of COVID-related deaths recorded in the state was 30 taking the total to 51,310 deaths in all. The city had 448 fresh new cases on Sunday while the Thane Municipal Corporation, Navi Mumbai and Kalyan Dombivali Corporation recorded 69, 75 and 77 cases respectively in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
