Covid-19: TPR, new cases see a rise in both Mumbai and Maharashtra

The doubling rate, however, improved to 2,782 days on Tuesday. The city’s recovery rate remained constant at 97 per cent as 192 people recovered and were discharged on Tuesday

After seeing the lowest test positivity rate in the second wave on Monday, Mumbai saw a significant rise in both TPR and daily cases on Tuesday. TPR rose to 0.63 per cent from 0.43 per cent on Monday.

As per the BMC report, there were 187 new cases and two deaths. Both the deceased were aged above 60 and had comorbidities.
