As vaccination centres add to workload of civic hospitals, overstretched staffers, especially nurses, question BMC's staff management, demand help

Managing routine work with limited manpower, hospitals now have the additional responsibility of running vaccination centres. Although the civic body claims that it is ready for the drive, complains of staff shortage are emerging, especially from among the nurses.
The vaccination centres were short-staffed on the inauguration day itself. In addition, even though the vaccination drive was suspended for the past two days, the BMC is yet to figure out how it would manage its hospital staff and plan working hours.
