COVID cases in Mumbai stay below 10,000; deaths jump by 10 in a day

Mumbai for the second consecutive day recorded fewer than 10,000 cases on Friday, but fresh fatalities jumped to 35 from 25 a day before. The state-wide daily tally, however, continued the upward trend with 58,933 new cases.
