<p>On Tuesday, <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/search/mumbai-articles" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Mumbai</a> reported seven new <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/search/covid-19-articles" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Covid-19</a> cases, taking the overall tally of infections to 1,164,098, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation said in a health bulletin.</p>
<p>Presently, the city now has 42 active Covid-19 cases.</p>
<p>According to data, Mumbai's overall growth rate of cases between August 1 and August 7 is 0.0007 per cent, and the recovery rate stood at 98.3 per cent.</p>
<p>So far, 189,17,659 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the city, including 367 samples taken in the past 24 hours.</p>
<p>The caseload doubling time is 141,000 days, as per civic data.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, Maharashtra reported 12 new cases and zero death.</p>
