<p><a href="https://www.mid-day.com/search/mumbai-articles" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Mumbai</a> reported 22 new <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/covid-19/" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Covid-19</a> cases on Tuesday, as per the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) data.</p>
<p>Presently, the city now has 92 active Covid-19 cases.</p>
<p>According to data, Mumbai's overall growth rate of cases between August 22 and August 28 is 0.0009 per cent, and the recovery rate stood at 98.3 per cent.</p>
<p>So far, 189,23,501 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the city, including 309 samples taken in the past 24 hours.</p>
<p>The caseload doubling time is 69,617 days, as per civic data.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, Maharashtra reported 36 new cases and zero deaths.&nbsp; 26 patients were discharged on August 29, 2023, taking the total tally of discharged patients to 80,21,934.</p>
<p>The recovery rate in the state is 98.18 per cent. The case fatality rate in the state is 1.81 per cent.<br />Out of 8,74,80,086 laboratory samples 81,70,684 have tested positive (9.34 per cent) for Covid-19 until today</p>
