Sena chief Udhhav Thackeray has not taken too kindly to reports that nearly half of the 967 city roads that are undergoing repairs are far from being completed and have missed the May 31 deadline for completion.

Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) authorities have claimed the municipal body is not solely responsible for the delay, as it had to follow certain protocol and could proceed without approvals from various agencies such as the traffic department and Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA).
