The Eknath Shinde-led Maharashtra government on Wednesday decided to revoke the suspension order against deputy commissioner of police (DCP) Parag Manere.
Manere was suspended by the Uddhav Thackeray-led government last year along with former Mumbai police commissioner Parambir Singh in December last year. He was charged with extortion. Manere was deputy commissioner of the Economic Offences Wing and a trusted aide of Singh.
