Four killed as part of building collapses in Thane

According to the officials, a slab of the third floor collapsed around 11.30 am. The structure having 30 flats was allegedly illegal and had already been served a notice

Four people were killed after a portion of a building collapsed in Ulhasnagar town of Thane district. The incident took place after a slab of a five-storey building collapsed on Thursday morning, authorities said, as per the PTI.
Some more people were feared trapped in the debris. Rescue operations were underway, Ulhasnagar tehsildar (revenue officer) Komal Thakur told PTI.
