Four dead, two injured after nitrogen gas leak at factory in Palghar

At least four workers died and two others were seriously injured after a gas leak incident at a pharma factory in Maharashtra's Palghar district, officials said on Thursday.

The incident took place after some of the workers reportedly inhaled nitrogen gas that leaked at a pharmaceutical company located in Tarapur MIDC of Maharashtra’s Palghar district, the officials said.

The tragic incident was reported to the officials on Thursday afternoon at Medley Pharma, a pharmaceutical company located in the industrial hub of Boisar, around 130 km from Mumbai, officials said, according to news agency PTI.
