A donor`s heart reached a Powai hospital in Mumbai from neighbouring Thane district in just 17 minutes through a well-coordinated green corridor and has gven hope to a critically ill patient, officials said on Friday.
They said that Dr. L H Hiranandani Hospital in Powai successfully received a donor heart from Mahaveer Jain Hospital in Thane district in a record time of 17 minutes and it was made possible with a green corridor by the authorities in Mumbai and Thane.
