Househelp ends life by jumping off fifth floor of Bandra high-rise

The deceased has been identified as Sarita Kappu. The police didn’t find any suicide note from the woman. The police handed over the body to her husband who works at a restaurant in Goa

A 30-year-old househelp and mother of three allegedly jumped off the fifth floor of a Bandra high-rise on Sunday. The police said the woman arrived in Mumbai four days ago and was working at the house of the couple who own the flat she jumped from. The flat owners told the police that she did not wish to work and wanted to return to Jharkhand because of her three children whom she had left with her in-laws. The Bandra police have registered an Accidental Death Report and have started an investigation.
