Humidity going to be a killer over next few days, says IMD

Met dept predicts rain and thundershowers over Mumbai and Thane on April 25 and 27

Mumbai and its suburbs may experience light to moderate rain or thundershowers over the next three days, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted. Meteorologists have also warned of high relative humidity making it uncomfortable.

As per IMD`s district-wise forecast, dry weather conditions are likely in Mumbai, Thane and Palghar. The weather bureau predicted (green alert) light rain on April 25 and April 27 with thundershowers in Mumbai and Thane. The IMD has also issued a forecast (yellow alert) of moderate rainfall, with thundershowers and gusty winds (30-40 kmph) at isolated places in Mumbai and Thane.
