Maha Mumbai Metro celebrated India's 77th Independence Day with great joy and pride. The event took place at their headquarters in BKC, and Dr. Sanjay Mukherjee, IAS, Chairman and Managing Director of Maha Mumbai Metro, raised the flag, filling the air with pride and love for the country, an official statement said on Wednesday.

The celebration began with a special show of patriotism as the MSF women's platoon saluted the flag, honoring the dedication of our armed forces. The festive spirit spread throughout the city, reaching all the stations on Metro Line 2A and 7. Ticket counters and stations were decorated with flags and colorful balloons, creating a joyful atmosphere at every stop. Flags were given out at certain stations, letting passengers take part in the celebration and show their love for India.

A highlight of the day was the Metro depot in Charkop, where employees and their families gathered to celebrate independence together. This gathering reminded everyone of the teamwork needed to build a strong and progressive India.

Dr. Sanjay Mukherjee talked about the importance of Independence Day in his speech. He said, "Maha Mumbai Metro's celebration of Independence Day shows how committed we are to our nation's freedom and progress. As we raise the flag and celebrate this important day, we also honor the hard work of our armed forces and the collective efforts that help India grow. Maha Mumbai Metro is proud to represent modernization and development, changing how people travel in Mumbai. Let's keep working together for a better future for our country."
