"Ratnakar Gaikwad, the chief secretary, was in the hospital for four hours and inspected the entire hospital. He is positive about the high-rise. In the last few years we have added nine super-specialty departments, but have u00a0not increased space. There is a dire need in the u00a0hospital for more space to achieve excellence in u00a0both academics and u00a0patient care," said Dr T P Lahane, dean of JJ hospital.<br /><br />
